About Ting.

Ting, also known as Meet-Ting, was an early AI calendar agent built to manage your schedule and save you time. It was one of the first scheduling agents you could CC into an email or message on WhatsApp.

How Ting worked

Founded in 2025 by Dan Bulteel and Mariana Prazeres, Ting handled the back and forth of finding time. It checked connected calendars, booked and rearranged meetings, remembered preferences and protected time for what mattered. No booking links or extra apps.

The story of Ting

The idea caught on. Ting attracted over 5,000 small businesses and solopreneurs, was a Top Launch on Product Hunt, and was used and endorsed by some of the largest AI creators. The concept was also quickly replicated by established companies like Perplexity, Superhuman and Calendly.

Ting joined Google’s AI startup program while developing a novel use of AI for everyday scheduling. It raised investment from leading UK and Australian entrepreneurs, alongside executives from Disney, TikTok and Google.

In 2026, Ting completed a private sale to one of the world’s largest technology companies.
